My background stems from more then 20 years of photography. I picked up my late father's Pentex ME Super; at the time a single lens reflex camera I inherited from him. Film started with Kodachrome, and then moved into Fuji Velvia. Now, digital. My photography always followed my sense of discovery, adventure, and the love of outdoors. We follow our mentors, and in my case, my father and mother both were artists in their own right. We traveled to many parts of Europe, and afterward I carried this tradition (and my camera) to other parts as well: India, Russia, Japan, South America. Later in my photography, I delved more into humanity, and began photographing people and their personalities. I find that weddings are a time when humans are at a very special time and place. Emotions are high, and I get caught in the same high, which comes out in my imagery. People are beautiful in their own unique way, and during weddings, its exceptionally true.
"Haute Trash" was a wonderful event. The creative input and warm camaraderie were unparalled at the show.
